FNAF Plus and the game it remakes: Five Nights at Freddy's 1

FNAF Plus is a fan-made remake of the first Five Nights at Freddy's by the developer Phisnom: the same pizzeria and the same five nights, rebuilt with new, far more detailed animatronics. There is no browser version of FNAF Plus, and pages that promise one usually load something else. This site is honest about it: what plays here is the game FNAF Plus remakes — Scott Cawthon's original 2014 FNAF — in an HTML5 port served from this domain.

You are the night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Each night runs from 12 AM to 6 AM, about nine real minutes, and you never leave the office. On each side there is a doorway with two buttons: LIGHT shows who is standing in the blind spot outside, DOOR slams a steel door shut. A monitor gives you the security cameras. Everything you use draws power, the power only lasts the night if you are careful, and when it hits zero the lights go out and Freddy comes to the door.

Four animatronics wander after dark. Bonnie comes down the left hall and Chica down the right; both stop in the doorway before they come in, which is what the lights are for. Foxy hides behind the curtain in Pirate Cove and, if you forget him, sprints down the west hall to the left door. Freddy moves last and only when you are not watching him. The phone guy leaves a message at the start of each night that explains a little more — listen to the first few.

How to get through all five nights

  1. Light first, door second: Never close a door blind. Flick the light on, and only if Bonnie or Chica is standing there close the door — then open it again as soon as the light shows they have left.
  2. Watch the usage bars: The Usage meter under the power shows how many things are drawing power. One bar is idle; every light, door and the camera adds one. Four bars empties the tank long before 6 AM.
  3. Keep Foxy behind the curtain: Check Pirate Cove (CAM 1C) now and then, but not constantly. If he is gone, close the left door at once — when he bangs on it he takes a chunk of your power.
  4. Short camera trips: The monitor costs power and hides the doors. Flip it up, check Pirate Cove and the show stage, flip it down. Checking the doorways with the lights is cheaper.
  5. If a button stops working: When a door or light does nothing, someone is already in the office. Do not flip the camera up and down in panic — the jumpscare comes when you lower it.
  6. Nights 4 and 5 are about Freddy: Freddy moves in the dark and laughs when he does. Keep power in reserve for the right door late in the night, because a blackout at 5 AM is how most runs end.

Key features

  • The original FNAF: Scott Cawthon's 2014 game — the one FNAF Plus remakes — in a 1280×720 HTML5 port.
  • Five nights, then more: Beat Night 5 to open Night 6, then the Custom Night where you set each animatronic from 0 to 20.
  • Four animatronics: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy each move their own way — and there is a rare fifth.
  • One limited power bar: Doors, lights and cameras all drain it; running out at 5 AM is the classic FNAF death.
  • Progress saves: Continue picks up at the last night you reached; it is kept in your browser for this site.
  • Works on a Chromebook: Mouse only, loads from this domain, no download or plugin.

Game info

Pro tip: Count to the phone guy: on Night 1 you can nearly ignore the doors until 2 AM. Spend that time learning where Bonnie and Chica stop on the cameras, so on the later nights one quick look tells you which light to check.

Frequently asked questions

Is FNAF unblocked at school?

FNAF Plus itself is a PC fan game with no browser build, so no site can really unblock it. The original FNAF on this page runs in an ordinary browser tab from fnafplus.org with nothing to install, so it plays on most school Chromebooks. If a network filter blocks the site, only that network's administrator can change it.

Is this FNAF Plus?

No. FNAF Plus is a fan remake by Phisnom and it has no browser version. The game on this page is the original Five Nights at Freddy's (2014) — the game FNAF Plus is a remake of — running in the page.

How do you play FNAF?

Stay in the office from 12 AM to 6 AM. Use the lights to check both doorways, shut a door only when an animatronic is standing there, and use the cameras to keep track of them. Every door, light and camera drains power, so use them only when you need to.

How long is a night?

About nine minutes of real time, from 12 AM to 6 AM. The clock is in the top right corner; each in-game hour is roughly a minute and a half.

What happens when the power runs out?

Every light goes off, the doors open, and Freddy's face appears in the left doorway playing a tune. If 6 AM comes before the tune ends you survive — otherwise it is game over.

Does my progress save?

Yes. The game stores the last night you reached in your browser for this site, and Continue on the title screen picks up there. Clearing site data resets it.

Does it work on a Chromebook?

Yes. It only needs the mouse or a tap, and the whole office fits a Chromebook screen. The first load downloads the game files once, so give it a moment.
