• Keep moving. Standing still while your hero fires is how most early runs end, because enemies converge from several sides.
• Stay near the open middle rather than a corner, where you can be trapped.
• Collect gold when it is safe, not at any cost. A pickup is not worth running into a pack.
• Read each upgrade before choosing instead of clicking the first one, and try a different build on your next run to see what works.
